The inspiring, versatile beauty of fashion is at the heart of “Velvet Mi Amor,” a book and collection curated by and .
At Pitti Uomo 105, the project exhibit, that can be visited at Spazio Carra, is entirely dedicated to velvet, ranging from camels, to green, blue and to its myriad reflections. A fashion staple, velvet is a deeply flexible ancient fabric.

Continually lightened or enhanced in performance, it is enriched with textures without compromising its classic allure. This results in a collection and a book ideally projected towards the future: from playful volumes and trompe l’oeil print techniques to treatments that elevate the fabric’s moldable and three-dimensional aspect. At Pitti Uomo, Stefano and Corinna Chiassai will unveil the evolution of a project driven primarily by creative instinct and curiosity.
The book presentation will be hosted on Wednesday 10 January at 14.30, Unicredit Theatre, Fortezza da Basso.
