Vintage 55 Firenze Vintage 55 was born from the passion for anglo american culture. Today vintage 55 is an international brand that manufactures a total look for men and women.

It was established in 1997 as an import-export trade for american secondhand denim pants and tshirts and successfully started to produce new items inspired by the anglo american icons and stories in 2000. Vintage 55 takes inspiration from a recent past made of dreams and great ambition, from a time where the music world and the cinema saw the influence of great icons and artists. The term vintage

is just not a style but a tribute to the past eras. The clothes tell a history and become a real life witness. Clothes that have become anonymous, simple rags piled up in the closets for cast-offs. Now rediscovered. Vintage 55 is neither a revival nor a commemoration. Neither nostalgia nor a return to the past. And vintage 55 is not even about melancholy for bygone eras, nor is it simply about imitation. Vintage 55 is more a tribute to the experience of clothing that tends to get lost in the accumulation of events; in the passing of days, years and centuries that leave their threads behind. A tribute to the glory days of youthful aspirations, perhaps faded or simply washed out or worn out by overuse. We’ve borrowed a term (vintage) and repositioned it on the rack for people wishing to preserve the common sense of whatever is well made;
the simplicity of whatever is useful and necessary.

This time helping us welcome back our Sleeve sessions is one of the masters of the Italian House of Disco, Luca Trevisi, aka the LTJ Experience. His keen ear on all that of House and fine selection of records, has compelled thousands of people to dance for years and he has also been a huge influence/teacher for many current djs. Along with Luca already having a residency in two clubs and a craze for all things House, Luca is also an owner of various record labels, including Small World Record. We are happy to have one of our very own from Italy gracing us with his presence and selection this Friday. Do not miss it; Streaming and in store.
