11/03/2020 • I set up this warp a while ago, during Christmas holidays, and left it untouched until now. I like to leave a warp on my loom so that every time I get back to italy I have the chance to weave a little bit. This is not the happiest occasion, the virus is spreading throughout the country and we are stuck here it, not being able to leave the house unless it is essential. It’s true that I needed to rest but I was hoping for a different kind of relaxing holiday. Quarantine was not an option. Anyway, here we are, waiting for a better time to come. Praying for my beautiful country to recover soon.
I spent the whole morning weaving like I used to do years ago. Sun shining through the window creating the perfect atmosphere for a chilled morning. I missed the quiet and rhythmic sound of the loom. 💕

I never really liked plain weave cos I’ve always find it a bit “boring” to weave but this time I think only a plain weave would do. How do you like the outcome?

I don’t remember the first time I threaded a loom but I’m sure I felt anxious because I didn’t wanna mess things up 😂 now, years later, I switch my brain off and let my hands do the work. Is it bad if I say that I didn’t have a specific project in mind when I started this warp? I hadn’t planned anything, I just picked some yarn cones, combined the colours together in less than 5 minutes and decided how many threads I was going to have of each colour while I was warping 🤦🏻‍♀️😅. Needless to say that I roughly counted the total threads on my warping mill and decided they where enough when I reached 250 ends.
This project could be a complete disaster but I’m confident I can weave a nice scarf out of this messy warp, what do you think?

Well, this isn’t exactly the holiday I had pictured. Can’t tell you how disappointed I am for not being able to visit Japan as I planned and I’m truly sorry for all the deaths and damages this typhoon has caused.
It’s good that I got the chance of seeing my fam though and Tuscany is lovely this time of the year. 🍂 🏡
Didn’t realised how much I’d missed weaving until I picked up some yarns to make this warp. It has been more than a year since I last set up my counterbalanced loom!! 🧵 Weaving is so therapeutic, I really needed to set up my old buddy again and forget about my hectic life for a little while.

It has been a while since I last posted something on IG and I haven’t used my loom for over a year now...shame! 🤦🏻‍♀️ right now I’m in Dubai for a few days trip after the February fashion show.
I am still living in London, working in fashion but I have no time for creative stuff...I was super happy to meet this guy today and I wanted to spent my entire day with him (and his loom😃).
I wish I could have a tiny loom in London as well but my room is soooo small and I don’t like frame looms 😢 what can I do?

**NEWS**UPDATE**
Hello ppl! I’ve great news! I’ll be moving to London next month! 🇬🇧
I’ve been offered a new (exciting) job and I couldn’t be happier. Looking for a place to stay, prepare documents, signing tons of papers can be overwhelming and I’m already freaking out....BUT hopefully everything is going to be ok. So please, if you are based in London, be my friend 😂 as I know no one there!

Hey ppl, it’s me! 🙋🏻‍♀️ just got back from my trip to Valencia and 5 days trip into the wild Tuscan countryside (🍝🍷).
Next week is my last week of summer holidays and I hate the idea of going back to my sad work life. Anyway, I have neglected my looms for such a long time that I don’t even remember how to weave! Can you believe that?! 😆 just kidding, I’ll try to work on a new warp soon...
