Siamo felici di aver contribuito a rafforzare l'identità del nuovo spazio di , attraverso pareti tessili ricamate pensate per dialogare con l'architettura, i colori, le luci e lo stile.
Un progetto nato da una bellissima collaborazione, che ci ha permesso di tradurre il loro immaginario in una presenza tessile capace di accogliere, raccontare e caratterizzare gli ambienti.
Perché i progetti migliori sono quelli che nascono dall'incontro tra visioni, competenze e sensibilità diverse.

We are delighted to have contributed to defining the identity of the new Collanine Colorate space with embroidered textile walls designed to interact seamlessly with the architecture, colors, lighting, and style.
Born from a beautiful collaboration, this project allowed us to translate their vision into a textile presence that welcomes, tells a story, and characterizes the spaces.
After all, the best projects come to life when different visions, expertise, and sensibilities meet.

Dal disegno alla materia.
Il ricamo nasce da un dialogo continuo tra tecnologia e gesto, dove la macchina traccia e la mano restituisce sensibilità.
Un processo preciso, costruito nel dettaglio, in cui l’idea prende forma.

🪡 Design and craftsmanship meet in a balance between precision and manual skill. Since 2017, Anna Monti has translated embroidery into an architectural language, transforming it into surface, structure, and design material.
This installation, born from a collaboration with Studio Irvine and Aurifil, allows embroidery to become part of the architecture’s very identity. Concept, expertise, and craftsmanship intertwine to define the space. Technology, experience, and specialization allow design intuition to be translated into matter, keeping the original vision perfectly intact.

🪡 Progetto e lavorazione si incontrano in un equilibrio tra precisione e manualità.
Dal 2017, Anna Monti porta il ricamo all’interno del linguaggio architettonico, trasformandolo in superficie, struttura e materia progettuale.
In questa installazione, nata dalla collaborazione con Studio Irvine e Aurifil, il ricamo diventa parte dell’identità stessa dell’architettura.
Idea, competenza e artigianalità si intrecciano, definendo lo spazio.
Tecnologia, esperienza e specializzazione permettono di tradurre l’intuizione progettuale in materia, mantenendo intatta la visione.

🪡 From inspiration to ex*****on, every detail takes shape through a process of research and experimentation.
Textures, transparencies, threads, and surfaces are studied to translate embroidery into an architectural language that defines, decorates, and molds the identity of a space. Embroidery thus becomes a transformative tool, capable of building atmosphere, depth, and perception.

🪡 Dall’ispirazione al progetto, ogni dettaglio prende forma attraverso un processo di ricerca e sperimentazione.
Texture, trasparenze, fili e superfici vengono studiati per tradurre il ricamo in un linguaggio architettonico che delimita lo spazio, lo decora e ne definisce l’identità.
Il ricamo diventa così uno strumento di trasformazione, capace di costruire atmosfera, profondità e percezione.

🪡 Matter densifies, light reveals.
On velvet, embroidery creates relief, emerging beautifully with the shifting light. Alcovess become living surfaces—where texture creates depth and redefines the atmosphere of a room.
🪡 La materia si fa più densa, la luce l’attraversa e la rivela.
Sul velluto, il ricamo costruisce rilievo ed emerge in modo diverso a seconda dell’incidenza della luce.
Le nicchie diventano superfici vive, dove il ricamo crea diversi livelli di profondità e definisce l’atmosfera dello spazio.

Embroidery woven into the architecture. In these velvet-lined niches, the stitching becomes a tactile experience—emerging from the surface to define the space.
All’interno del percorso, il ricamo prende forma nelle superfici.
Le nicchie, rivestite in velluto ricamato, diventano spazi materici dove il ricamo stesso emerge e si definisce.
Il punto costruisce rilievo, dialoga con la luce e restituisce profondità all’ambiente.

Through the Thread | Embroidery as an Architectural act

We are pleased to present Through the Thread, an installation created in collaboration with Studio Irvine and Aurifil.
Here, embroidery is reimagined as an architectural gesture: fully embroidered textile walls act as portals to step through, defining an immersive space of light, texture, and transparency.
