✨!You just scanned a Cap_able garment!✨

If you’re watching this video, chances are you’re at FuturePIXEL House at SXSW in Austin, Texas 🇺🇸
Not there? Don’t worry — there will be other chances to meet our community.

We’re happy you stopped to explore this piece a little further 🪐

This garment is part of our Manifesto Collection, where fashion meets privacy technology through patterns designed to interfere with facial recognition systems 👁️‍🗨️

Take a moment to explore the rest of the collection — and see how clothing can become a new interface between humans and AI 🤖

What a year it’s been.
From events, talks, and inspiring encounters to the launch of our new AI Camo — 2025 kept us moving, evolving, and growing 💥

Cap_able never stopped. We kept pushing boundaries, exploring new directions, and building something bigger, step by step.

And none of this would have been possible without you, our community.
Thank you for being part of the journey and for supporting us throughout this 2025 🤍

Stay tuned — 2026 is already calling, and there’s so much more to come 🚀

✨ The semester has come to an end for this final-year class of the Master’s Degree in Design for the Fashion System at Politecnico di Milano.

We were truly happy (and honored!) to be part of their journey and to collaborate during the workshop.
So much talent, energy, and professionalism in such a short time 💥

A huge thank you to all the students, judges, and friends who made these weeks so intense and inspiring.
Wishing these designers the very best for what’s next — we can’t wait to see where you’ll go 🚀

They protect presence, not disappearance.

🎛️ This project is another one of the outcomes of the Critical Design Textile Product workshop, developed by students within the Master in Design for the Fashion System at Politecnico di Milano.

🔮 The Invisible Web explores how light can become a boundary — soft, atmospheric, and unrecordable.
In today’s club culture, every phone is a camera. Moments once meant to dissolve into the crowd now survive on timelines, reels, and feeds.

But what if being photographed became a choice, not a consequence?

✨ Students’ answer is a modular UV-reactive nylon mesh, clear to the human eye yet chaotic to the digital lens. Under UV light, it transforms into interference that confuses the sensor and protects the face.

👁️ For performers and party people who value identity and authorship, who have the right to appear only when they choose. 🖤

Can fashion challenge the eyes of the casino?

🎰 The second project we present, Voltocubista comes from the Critical Design Textile Product workshop, developed by students of the Master in Design for the Fashion System at Politecnico di Milano.

In the glittering haze of the casino, algorithms see more than eyes ever could.
Pleasure and fun might become prediction and an attack to privacy. Studying the prototype, students turned to silk, a fabric of both softness and rebellion, and to Picasso’s Les Demoiselles d’Avignon fractured gaze, where distortion becomes freedom.

✨ The result is a foulard made in Como from sustainable mulberry silk, layered with moiré reflections and reflective threads. Its surface breaks the algorithm’s logic through flicker, shimmer, and interference.

👁️ VoltoCubista becomes a quiet and luxurius act of resistance, a reminder that to be seen is not to be owned.

What a wrap! ✨
After three weeks, countless ideas, and one shared challenge, the final presentations of the Critical Design Textile Product workshop are complete! ⚡

Part of the Fashion Craft course within the Master’s Degree in Design for the Fashion System at Polimi, the workshop tackled complex concepts in a short time, with truly outstanding results.

From bold ideas to thoughtful designs, each project reflected creativity, attention to detail, and strong collaboration.
Stay tuned, we’ll be sharing each group’s project soon! 👀

A huge thanks to everyone involved for making this journey so inspiring. 💫

💻From lines of code to touchscreens, and now to invisible interfaces, our relationship with machines keeps evolving.

What began as a way to make computers more usable has become something much deeper: a study of how technology shapes the way we think, feel, and move through the world 🗺

👉 Swipe through to explore how HCI turned computing into a human science and how the boundaries between humans and machines are dissolving 🔄
