Not every flower is meant to fade.
Some are preserved in thread.

Inspired by the blossoms that colour the valleys of Kashmir, every motif is embroidered patiently by hand, carrying forward generations of craftsmanship through every stitch.

Balanced by a quiet contemporary silhouette, the Rubina Pashmina brings together the soul of Kashmir with the understated elegance of European living.

A piece shaped by nature. Refined by hand. Designed to be lived with.

Every journey has an origin.

For ours,
it begins among the waters, mountains and artisan communities of Kashmir: where centuries of craftsmanship continue to shape every authentic Pashmina.

Some traditions are not preserved in museums.
They are preserved in the hands of those who return to the loom, day after day.

This National Handloom Day, we honour the artisans whose knowledge, patience, and craftsmanship continue to keep one of the world’s oldest weaving traditions alive.

Without the artisan, there is no craft.
Without the craft, there is no Pashmina.

Happy National Handloom Day.

Some corners of a home tell stories without words.
A favourite chair.
An unfinished letter.
A Pashmina waiting to be wrapped around another day.

The most beautiful ones are rarely the newest. Each season leaves something behind, a little more softness, a little more give in the weave, until it stops being new, and starts being yours.

Under 16 microns, spun by hand on a Charkha, one motion, repeated until it becomes thread. Even here, before the loom, no two turns are ever quite the same.

Darbar means court, the kind with horses, elephants, a procession of noble figures. Here, it is held entirely in thread: silk and zari, worked by one artisan, Tasiya, over twenty months. Not a print. One hand’s memory of a world that doesn’t exist anymore.

Above 14,000 feet, on Ladakh’s Changthang plateau, the Changpa herders keep watch through winters that fall to -20°C. It’s this cold the Changthangi are built for, and the reason they grow it: a fine undercoat, combed away by hand each June, never sheared. What we call pashmina begins here, months before it ever reaches a loom in Kashmir.
