THE PRACTICE OF FREEDOM

For the Italian artist Roberto Coda Zabetta, internationally recognised for his work, painting is both a discipline and a form of freedom — the freedom, and almost the responsibility, to take a stand. Working from his home studio in a small village in the Marche region, Coda Zabetta has built a practice where life and creative research become part of the same process.

A similar attitude informed Massimo Osti’s work. Drawing inspiration from art, music, comics and contemporary culture, he viewed apparel design as a process of observation and transformation, approaching fashion as an “architecture of form”.
