It began in my years at Bowie High School as a raw, silly, and gory clothing line by the name of Take Control. Then after I left college at Towson University, it was a solo music act, containing similar values as the previous iteration, but as a whole much darker, and melancholy, reflective of the place I was in emotionally during that time. Acrylic Matter represents being your true self, and doin
g the things you love to do, regardless of any one else's thoughts. Our minds are not meant to be stuck doing busy work at dead-end jobs everyday. They are meant to be challenged, and nourished by things that genuinely interest us. I wanted to create something that not only represents freedom in creativity, but brings out those feelings of when you were younger, and unafraid to say, do, or think as you wished. Creativity, and freedom of the mind are what keep our society moving forward, and they are ideals that I hold extremely close. Anyway, please enjoy the collection. Many hours were spent nitpicking, and revamping nearly every aspect of this project. Thank you for all the support.
