Rappresenta i più alti valori culturali della Moda Italiana e si propone di tutelarne, coordinarne e potenziarne l'immagine, sia in Italia sia all'estero. Come previsto dalle disposizioni statutarie, l'Associazione é il punto di riferimento e l'interloc

utore privilegiato per tutte quelle iniziative nazionali ed internazionali volte a valorizzare e a promuovere lo stile, il costume e la Moda italiana. Fin dal 1958, anno della sua fondazione, ha attuato nel corso del tempo una politica di supporto organizzativo finalizzata alla conoscenza, alla promozione e allo sviluppo della Moda attraverso eventi di alta levatura di immagine in Italia e all'estero. Le recenti intese sui calendari internazionali che hanno portato alla sigla dell'accordo Italo-Francese hanno conferito a Milano e alla Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana il ruolo di indiscusso protagonista sullo scacchiere internazionale della Moda, contribuendo anche al consolidamento delle alleanze con Londra e New York. Il Protocollo d'Intesa Italo-Francese firmato a Parigi il 26 giugno 2000 rappresenta la precisa volontà della Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana e della Federation Française de la Couture di condurre una politica comune volta allo sviluppo e alla diffusione dei prodotti del lusso nelle aree extra-europee. Il 17 gennaio 2005 tale accordo è stato riconfermato a Milano con la firma di un nuovo protocollo, alla presenza del Ministro del commercio estero francese, On.François Loos e del Vice Ministro, On.Adolfo Urso, controfirmato dal Presidente della Regione Lombardia, On.Roberto Formigoni, con l'integrazione di uove iniziative di particolare rilevanza, al fine di gestire il nuovo scenario del commercio internazionale, caratterizzato dalla crescente concorrenza destinata ad inasprirsi con la fine dell'Accordo Mondiale Multifibre.

Grand Tour. Viaggio attraverso le Accademie delle Arti e dei Mestieri made its international debut last night in Athens, where Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana — on the initiative of the Embassy of Italy in Greece — presented the documentary at the prestigious Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation.

The screening was followed by a talk with CNMI Chairman Carlo Capasa, bringing together fashion students, journalists, scholars and industry professionals in a conversation about the future of Italian fashion education.

Athens marks the third stop of the tour, after Milan and Rome — and the first international one. A milestone that speaks to the global relevance of Italian fashion culture and the strategic importance of education as a driver of the sector's future.
