This editorial draws inspiration from an Andalusian Romani legend, ”El amor brujo“, which tells a woman haunted by the ghost of her deceased lover. Only through the symbolic “Dance of Fire” she can dispel the shadows and embrace love once again.
Beyond its narrative of desire, it reflects on how we confront the “ghosts” of the past — trauma, fractured relationships, social prejudice, and the most hidden fears within ourselves. It reminds us that healing begins not in denial, but in recognition.
To release the past is to celebrate renewal.
To face the shadow is to open a new chapter.
To move through fire is to begin again.
Through art, dance, music, and ritual, we find healing. And love, in this sense, is not merely romantic possession — it is liberation, rebirth, and the courage to choose again.
