I think I am the last remaining shoemaker who continues to make shoes by hand. I do this helped by my family and a group of expert cobblers. I use only the best materials that are available, the most precious animal skins and leather. I am always thinking about shoes and how I can do something different. Silvano Lattanzi

i, just 21 years old, decides to turn his innate passion for leather and male elegance into the dream of making the most beautiful and unique shoes in the world.

1971-1974 The young Silvano perfects his manual talent in the in the craftsman’s shops of the last Master Shoemakers of London, Paris and Milan. The precious technical and stylistic baggage achieved will allow him to continue the European tradition of the Handmade and of the Made-to- Measure that was going lost in the industrial boom.

1975 The first collection brings on a shock reaction: in those years men shoes were conceived only as black or brown, Silvano interprets with elegance provocative colours such as red, blue, yellow and green mixed and antiqued as in an impressionist painting.

Handcrafted in Italy, multicolored Lizard heel sandals by Silvano Lattanzi.
Violet, bronze, amber, coral and black tones come together across the natural Lizard pattern, finished with delicate straps and a remarkably slender 12 cm black stiletto heel.

The exceptionally fine black heel creates a light, precise and elegant silhouette, while the multicolored Lizard pattern makes each pair visually distinctive.
