La stilista Carla Saibene è l’anima di questo affascinante e stylish concept store nel centro storico di Milano nel cuore delle 5 Vie, uno spazio per chi ama uno stile bon-chic bohémien, fatto di capi dal taglio sartoriale , ma anche di accessori e oggetti curiosi scovati con cura in tutto il mondo. La capsule collection "Carla Saibene " disegnata da Carla è composta da rivisitazioni di capi “ti

meless” dal taglio sartoriale con particolare attenzione alla qualità dei tessuti. Molto speciale e curata la scelta di accessori e scarpe : le sciarpe di Epice, le t-shirt American Vintage,gli zoccoli Swedish Hasbeens, le scarpe Emma Go, le borse Nothing New di materiali vintage, le calzine Bonne Maison, i bijoux Les jeux des dames e poi tanti altri piccoli marchi di ricerca. La selezione di oggetti fatta da Carla si arricchisce di stagione in stagione: cinturine intrecciate inglesi, bijoux e foulard turchi, borse e pochette di tessuti vintage orientali, beauty-case e valigette in tessuto stampato francesi, t-shirt californiane, oltre a ceramiche smaltate a mano, spille e collier con fiori di tessuto, piccoli carnet. Il gusto eclettico di Carla è il filo conduttore che rende l'atmosfera unica e trasforma lo shopping in un'esperienza "personalizzata". L'atmosfera respirata in famiglia, la mamma interior decorator esperta di tessuti antichi e il nonno collezionista d'arte aiutano a spiegare la passione di Carla per la moda e per i tessuti. Dopo la laurea a Milano con una tesi in storia della moda, frequenta il Central Saint Martins College a Londra. In seguito a diverse esperienze lavorative da Pittimmagine, Gianfranco Ferré e come assistente costumista all'Arena di Verona, nel 2000 lancia la sua prima collezione di abbigliamento femminile con il marchio "Carla Saibene" che viene subito notata e acquistata dai più esclusivi negozi in Italia e nel mondo tra cui: "Liberty" a Londra, "Calypso" a St.Barth e New York, "Club 55" a Saint Tropez e "Beams" a Tokyo. Attualmente la collezione si può trovare in esclusiva nell'Atelier Carla Saibene in Via San Maurilio a Milano.

What an incredible adventure! Starting from my beloved Atelier in the heart of 5Vie District, we embarked on a magical journey through the neighbourhood.

We discovered the precious artworks of Madina Visconti's jewellery studio, enjoyed an aperitif at Bcafè, indulged in a delicious lunch at Antica Trattoria Milanese, explored the hand-painted ceramics at Laboratorio Paravicini, and wrapped up with another memorable dining experience at La Brisa.

Instant inspiration!

As a fashion designer, I draw inspiration from everything around me, whether it's from travels, art exhibitions, nature or people.

𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐨 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐢 is for me a source of great inspiration: the sophisticated palette of vibrant pastel colors to hand-paint ceramics, and the sumptuous designs, secret gardens and paradise locations, constellations and astrology have a great allure.

Their philosophy of creating one-of-a-kind pieces from continuous research and the fusion of different styles, along with their commitment to maintaining a high-quality standard throughout the entire production process, deeply aligns with my own creative vision.

While creating my collection, mostly composed of limited-edition series, I do a lot of research on fabrics and colors, this part of my work has always fascinated me the most.

Visiting I have taken myself on a journey of inspiration and creativity, that I am glad to share with you!

Today let me take you on a journey through one of the most charming places, all about that effortless Milanese chic!

✨ Welcome to 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐨 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐢, located via Nerino 8 in a hidden courtyard in the historic centre, the Laboratorio Paravicini is a Wunderkammer dedicated to lovers of hand-painted 🎨 ceramic and more.

The founder of this magic place is Costanza Medici Paravicini and, since a few years, her daughters, Benedetta & Margherita, joined her. They embody the essence of the naturally chic Milanese woman.

Reinventing tradition is their mantra, continuous experimentation and exuberant creativity have been the driving forces of Laboratorio Paravicini's work. A production that has grown over time while maintaining its particular artisanal dimension.

I ♥️ Milan and I love my bicycle!

True Milanese know that the only way to survive Milano traffic is riding your bicycle through the narrow streets of the city. It's a bit of a challenge sometimes, but I love the energy and the buzz of Milano in the morning.

Riding my bicycle through the park of the Basiliche going from home to my Atelier in Via San Maurilio 20 is the best start of my Milanese morning routine!
