The Official JS by Jafar Shariat Page Jafar Shariat is a Persian menswear designer born on March 13, 1984 in Tehran, Iran.

These biographical factors play a fundamental role in Jafar’s formation : they combine dual systems such as West/Middle East traditions and form/formless garments with the designer’s passion for presenting the idea of our existence. In 2016 Jafar launched his eponymous label, establishing his atelier in a place that fully represents the designer’s complex philosophy in Milan. Jafar from his early

childhood started to learn how to paint by following his teacher Hossein Nowrouzi and passed the course of aesthetic. in 2012 moved to Milan to take a course of fashion design and graduated in 2015 from IED Milano design school. During his school he collaborated in projects with Linea pelle, Colmar, Vogue magazine and after graduation helped to Barbara I Gongini a danish avant-garde brand to realize a show pieces for their Copenhagen fashion week' show. The designer matures a peculiar clothing language through the celebration of his innate heritage between European and Middle-Eastern culture. It is therefore the burst of an instinctive primitiveness in which raw materials and accurate tailoring fuse together.
