This version of the divers’ watch in 18ct yellow gold sports a blue lacquer dial as well as a Cerachrom bezel insert in blue ceramic. Its high-performance compression ring of the Ringlock system is made of high-technology ceramic, which is also blue.

The Deepsea artfully combines 18ct yellow gold and shades of blue. The compression ring is made from blue ceramic, a technical innovation that marked a new way of integrating this material into the watch case. The helium escape valve, which works to protect the integrity of the watch during decompression, is manufactured in RLX titanium.

The Deepsea is the first Rolex deep-sea divers’ watch in 18ct yellow gold. Waterproof to a depth of 3,900m/12,800ft, its unidirectional rotatable bezel is fitted with a 60-minute graduated Cerachrom insert in blue ceramic that allows divers to monitor their time underwater. The moulded, recessed graduations and numerals of the Cerachrom insert, as well as the engraved inscriptions on the ring, are coated with yellow gold via PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition). The bezel’s knurled edge offers excellent grip and can be manipulated with ease.
