Forte di tale esperienza e con una grande passione per il lavoro imprenditoriale, volge la sua attenzione ad un mercato tutto da sviluppare, quello dell'abito da lavoro. La sua intuizione è giusta e viene gratificata da una importante crescita della sua azienda. Da pochi addetti si arriverà ad oltre 60 dipendenti e alla trasformazione da azienda artigianale ad industria, che opererà per molti anni con la denominazione di "Viltom di Toncelli Mauro". Il marchio Viltom assume negli anni fama e prestigio a livello nazionale, che durano fino ad oggi. Le nuove leggi sulla sicurezza creano l'esigenza di prodotti più curati e specifici per ogni settore, a costi, comunque, contenuti. Si avverte, quindi la necessità di una trasformazione radicale nella gestione aziendale per far fronte a questa nuova realtà.
