Behind every fabric, there is a first careful look.
Yuri has worked in the yarn warehouse at Manifattura Testori for two years. Every yarn that enters the mill passes through his hands first: a visual quality check against the master color, a count of the kilos against the supplier delivery note, and a decision on where it is needed next, warping or the loom.

Our sustainability strategy is expanding from environmental impact to social impact, and this collaboration is where the two come together. The starting point is simple: fabric scraps from our clients, too small to use but too valuable to throw away. Instead of ending up in the trash, we bring them to Como, to two organizations doing amazing work in the local community.

Since 1986, Amici Di Cometa has promoted an inclusive model of educational excellence, open to all and particularly attentive to those facing vulnerability, nurturing each person’s unique talents through experience, work and beauty.

CouLture Migrante is a social tailoring workshop in Como that welcomes migrant and asylum-seeking men and women, aiming to train and professionalize them for skilled work in the textile sector.

Together, their design know-how and craftsmanship turn our scraps into new products, showing that cutting waste and creating real opportunities can go hand in hand.

Every company is shaped by the people who pass through it and some leave marks that last long after they have moved on.

Massimo Astrua, grandson of Giovanni Testori and for years the technical mind behind the company’s most ambitious developments, eventually followed a different calling: first as a missionary, then as a priest working with a religious publishing house. The thread between his work here and his life after it is the same: a precise, committed care for what he was building.

Stories like his remind us that Testori Textiles has always been more than a production facility. It is a place where people invest something of themselves.

Four days in Berlin, and InnoTrans 2026 has come to an end.

What made this edition special was the recognition we received from rolling stock manufacturers, seating manufacturers and rail operators alike. It is a clear sign that we are heading in the right direction.

Walking the halls, we also spotted our textiles on board the latest high-speed, regional and night trains, proof that our materials are driving innovation right across the rail sector.

A big thank you to everyone who came to see us in Berlin. See you in 2028!

Day two at InnoTrans 2026 has brought new milestones for Testori.

Beyond seeing our products featured in completed train projects, the day confirmed our collaboration with leading international seat OEMs on current and future programs. We also joined a new European project with particularly high technical and comfort requirements, once again highlighting the uniqueness of Testori products.

And there was another important milestone: the official opening of the Australian market, with the first orders from local operators and seat manufacturers.

Day one at InnoTrans 2026 has been a strong start.

Our stand welcomed designers looking for textile solutions for premium interiors and luxury trains, sharing projects where comfort, safety and material quality have to work together. We also opened conversations with rail operators interested in new collaborations, a sign of how much the sector is investing in the passenger experience.

By day, a lounge. By night, a sleeping carriage. The same materials have to perform in both.

We are proud to be one of the material partners of DAY/DREAM, the new overnight rail concept by PriestmanGoode unveiled at InnoTrans 2026 in Berlin. The concept turns existing European rolling stock from daytime seating into an overnight sleeping environment, without the need for a dedicated sleeper fleet.

For DAY/DREAM, we developed the fabric for vertical surfaces, curtains and headboards across all three classes. It is a plant-based fabric, an 80/20 blend of recycled and raw plant-based cotton, engineered at a molecular level to meet fire retardancy requirements without compromising recyclability. At end of life, it can be broken down and reprocessed cleanly, with no chemical residue.

Finalist for a Crystal Cabin Award, it offers a circular alternative to the flame-retardant materials conventionally used in vertical surface applications.

Our archive is not a museum. It is a working resource, a collection of patterns, structures, and creative decisions accumulated since 1904, available to architects and designers looking for a starting point with real authorship behind it. From collaborations with Gio Ponti and Alessandro Mendini to commissions by Armani and Trussardi, Testori’s creative identity has always been shaped by dialogue with designers who understood that fabric is never just background.

Production leaves a mark, unless you build systems to close the loop.
Our biological water treatment system processes the water used in our manufacturing cycle, purifying it to a standard suitable for reuse in industrial or agricultural applications. It is one part of a larger commitment: making sure our processes give back as much as they take.
