L'attività nasce nello stupendo borgo Medioevale di Panicale nella verbe Umbria dove Artigianato e Arte camminano parallelamente, entrambe affondano le radici nei secoli, tramandando di generazione in generezione i segreti della lavorazione nelle antiche botteghe artigiane. L'artigianato in Umbria ha conservato infatti le tradizioni e le abitudini di un tempo, attività legate a modi di produzione dalle radici antichissime. Le origini risalgono al Medioevo ma è nel Rinascimento che queste "Arti minori" raggiungono il massimo splendore, diventano famose le ceramiche di Deruta, i tessuti di Montefalco e il tulle di Panicale insieme ad altre meno conosciute ma non meno importanti. Tali prodotti acquistando rinomanza e pregio, non soltanto quindi semplici categorie merceologiche di un comparto produttivo di grande peso nell'economia della regione, ma soprattutto declinazioni di altrettante espressioni di arte che hanno costruito nel tempo la civiltà artistica e materiale dell'Umbria.

The activity was borned in the beautiful medieval village of Panicale in Umbria, where Arts and Crafts walk side by side. Both are rooted in centuries, passing down from generation to generation the secrets of the ancient craftsmen. The craftsmanship in Umbria has in fact kept the traditions and habits of the past, activities related to modes of production with very ancient roots . The origins date back to the Middle Ages but was in the Renaissance that these " minor arts " reached its peak . They become famous ceramics of Deruta , Montefalco fabrics and tulle of Panicale together with other lesser-known but no less important . These products buying fame and honor , becoming not only simple categories of a productive sector of great importance in the economy of the region, but most of all facets of many expressions of art that have built up over time the material and artistic culture of Umbria.
