IL TEST DEL TAPPO.
La traspirabilità l'abbiamo spesso testata in laboratorio, dimostrando la superiorità della Canapa nel far passare il sudore.
Ma come si misura e si dimostra? Gli strumenti di laboratorio sono poco intuitivi.
Così abbiamo fatto un test artigianale, il test del TAPPO, un metodo semplice ed intuitivo per misurare quanto la Canapa fa passare il sudore in giornate molto calde, rispetto a tessuti simili.
1) Misurare il tappo vuoto
2) Riempire la caraffa di acqua bollente
3) Inserire tra il tappo e la caraffa il tessuto da testare
4) Dopo 10 minuti esatti, pesare il tappo con la condensa
5) Più il tappo è pesante, più vapore sarà passato e dunque il tessuto è più traspirante

Risultato finale: un ottimo cotone è meglio di un lino, ma niente batte la Canapa, che è più traspirante di oltre il 20% del Cotone e di un 30% del Lino.

THE CAP TEST.
We have often tested breathability in the laboratory, demonstrating H**p’s superior ability to let perspiration pass through.
But how can it be measured and demonstrated? Laboratory instruments are not very intuitive.
So we came up with a homemade test: the CAP TEST, a simple and intuitive method to measure how effectively H**p allows perspiration to pass through on very hot days, compared with similar fabrics.
1. Weigh the empty cap
2. Fill the carafe with boiling water
3. Place the fabric to be tested between the cap and the carafe
4. After exactly 10 minutes, weigh the cap with the condensation
5. The heavier the cap, the more steam has passed through, and therefore the more breathable the fabric is

Final result: a high-quality cotton performs better than linen, but nothing beats H**p, which is over 20% more breathable than Cotton and 30% more breathable than Linen.
