Its operations unit in Pavia di Udine is housed in the elegant Villa Caiselli in Cortello, a beautiful, 17th-century noble residence built on the ruins of an earlier, Lombard edifice. The company’s administration offices and design centre are set in grounds of over 50,000 sq. metres (538,000 sq ft) in a setting displaying a perfect balance of classic and contemporary styles. Thanks to its constantly growing business in the major European and non-European countries and with a strong presence in the east-Asian market, AREA98’s operations are focused mainly on the international marketplace. Today, exports account for 90% of the company’s turnover. In order to boost its pe*******on of the U.S. market, an operations unit – AREA98 USA LLC – was opened in 2013 in Miami, where, with its partner POETS Eyewear, it directly manages the distribution of its eyewear ranges in the United States.
