Last weekend, our teams from Milan and Perugia met in Florence to walk a section of the Renaissance Ring, from the Certosa to Piazzale Michelangelo, a route that connects the city to its surrounding hills, unfolding through historic paths, villas and panoramic viewpoints.🌿

It was a moment to step outside our daily routines and spend time together, but is also reflects something essential in how we work: experiencing places is part of how we design our itineraries. It allows us to move beyond theory and build journeys grounded in real knowledge and shared experiences.

Time spent together becomes part of the process, and the places we explore, part of what we can later share with our travelers.

📍 Manarola, Cinque Terre

Manarola sits between steep vineyards and the sea, shaped by a stunning landscape. Narrow paths, terraced hillsides, and the coastline tell the story of a place where daily life has long been intertwined with land and water.

Experiencing Manarola means engaging with this relationship. Moving through the territory by bike, stepping into small wineries where viticulture follows the rhythm of the seasons, heading out to sea along the Cinque Terre coast, or gathering around the table to learn the gestures of Ligurian cooking.

Beyond its image, Manarola can be discovered through its connection with its territory.

📍 Sacra di San Michele, Piemonte

Perched on a rocky peak overlooking the Susa Valley, the Sacra di San Michele has inspired centuries of stories, spiritual life, and pilgrimage.

Many readers may recognize its atmosphere. Umberto Eco never identified a real monastery as the setting for The Name of the Rose, yet he openly acknowledged that places like the Sacra di San Michele shaped the imagery behind the novel. The dramatic isolation, the ascent through silence, the sense of knowledge guarded by stone and time: all elements that echo strongly here.

Over more than a thousand years, the Sacra has lived many lives. From Benedictine monks to long periods of abandonment, and finally to its rebirth under the care of the Rosminian Fathers, the abbey has never lost its symbolic power.

Founded in antiquity and influenced over centuries by Mediterranean civilizations, Cagliari has always been a place of exchange and movement. Historic districts, local markets, and coastline still coexist within the same daily geography, defining a city lived at a human scale.

Experiencing Cagliari today means walking through historic neighborhoods, cycling across salt flats where nature and archaeology meet, and engaging with artisans, market vendors, cooks, and local producers. Culture here is not confined to museums but expressed through food, craftsmanship, and shared practices. 🪸​

As the capital of Sardinia, Cagliari offers a meaningful introduction to the island’s beauty: one that is grounded in landscape, time, and lived traditions.

📍 Navigli, Milano

The Navigli are one of the last visible traces of a Milan that was once shaped by water. For centuries, canals defined the city’s economy and daily life, connecting it to trade routes and surrounding territories. Most of them were later covered, but here, the water remains part of the urban fabric.

Today, the Navigli have evolved into one of Milan’s most lively and creative districts. Walking along the canals means moving through ateliers, cafés and informal meeting places that come alive especially in the evening, reflecting a younger and more spontaneous side of the city.

Our Bee Experience brings you beside the hives, observing the bees at work and learning how honey is made, guided by the slow rhythm of Italian rural tradition.

The experience naturally ends at the table, with a tasting of local honey paired with Italian cheeses and wine.

Not all meaningful encounters are loud. Some hum. 🍯
