VISIONARI
Starts the cooperation project between the Istituto di Moda Burgo and the ideas factory Le Visionnaire to find out the future fashion stylists. Every stylist’s dream is to show his creations at the “Pitti Immagine Uomo” in Florence. This dream can come true for three students of the Istituto di Moda Burgo in Pescara. The Abruzzo’s owner of the two brands, Andrea Salameh, has decided to g
ive a great chance to these young talents representing the Made in Italy, promoting a fashion ideas contest to launch his brands Taskino and Scandalo. The fashion ideas contest requires the creations of a portfolio of these two brands very well-known abroad, so that the students may have the chance to show their collections in Tokyo, at the most famous Japan fashion exhibition. “We believe in the young talents – says Andrea Salameh – and so we decided to give them this great opportunity. To show your creations at the Pitti in Florence is not an everyday event, especially for youth people who are still studying”. Salameh, 26 years old, coming from Pescara, in 2011 created these two brands collection together with the stylist Valerio Amici, coming from Roseto. They started up a company called “Le Visionnaire”, a fashion ideas factory, and they showed their Taskino and Scandalo portfolio inside the stand Factory at the Pitti Uomo in Florence in the last two years. Salameh and Amici succeed in working together with the Istituto di Moda, whose students welcomed their proposals with excitement. The project is based on the partnership between the old fashion school Burgo located in Pescara and the two brands, Taskino and Scandalo. The students will have to follow the guidelines proposed by the two brands to realize three different collections; the best ideas are going to receive a reward, that is the collection production and the invitation at the Pitti Immagine Uomo in Florence. “We have provided them details about materials, models, colours and items of clothing – explains Salameh – and we cannot wait to see the students’ creations. The students’ models will be the guidelines for the new brands clothing collection, Taskino and Scandalo. In two years these two brands achieved resounding success abroad. “We decided to aim to the international market - Salameh and Amici explain - because it is very important for us to compare our work with the best fashion stylists abroad, without any limits. It was not so easy to start working in this field, where we experienced the obstacles and difficulties along our way, that is why our desire now is to help the youth talents to emerge.”
“We immediately wanted to give our approval of this project – states Sandra Verzulli from the Istituto Burgo - because our aim is to inspire the growing creativity of our students. We also decided to plan a trip to visit the Pitti Immagine Uomo stands in Florence, because it is very important for their experience and their future job that they understand what happens it the fashion world”.
