Con l'estate arriva il nuovo ciclo di laboratori pensati e organizzati per chi le vacanze le farà un po' più in là.
Nel fresco del laboratorio e del suo giardino curiose e curiosi, appassionate e appassionati del saper fare potranno dedicarsi alla tessitura a mano.
Non è necessario aver già tessuto al telaio, ci sarò io ad indicarvi i pochi movimenti necessari. Per il resto, basterà dare spazio alla fantasia e ad un pizzico di sogno.
Le novità di quest'anno.
Il tema: un piccolo foulard di misto lino oppure una collana di cotone o seta di cui potrete scegliere i colori.
I giorni e i moduli: il classico sabato pomeriggio, dalle 15.30 alle 19.30, oppure due pomeriggi la settimana, dopo il lavoro, dalle 17.30 alle 19.30.
Contattatemi e insieme stabiliremo, se necessario, orari su misura se avrete la necessità di “aggiustare” l'orario secondo le vostre esigenze.
Tessere al telaio può essere un momento di intimo silenzio o di piacevole condivisione.

With the arrival of summer, a new series of workshops designed and organized for those who will be spending their holidays a little later.

In the cool of the workshop and its garden, curious and passionate people, lovers of craftsmanship and creativity, can indulge in hand-weaving.

It's not necessary to have previously woven on a loom; I'll be there to show you the few essential steps. For the rest, let your imagination and a little dream run wild.
This year's new additions:
The theme: a small linen-blend scarf or a cotton or silk necklace, with your choice of colors.
Days and times: the classic Saturday afternoon, from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM, or two afternoons a week, after work, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.

Contact me and, if necessary, we can arrange a personalized time to adapt the program to your needs.
Weaving on the loom can be a moment of intimate silence or a pleasant sharing.

Ieri mattina si è conclusa una settimana di workshop dedicato ai tessuti storici tradizionali in particolare, la Diamantina, i tessuti Paesani e il Filaticcio lucchese.

Giorni intensi, divertenti e di grande condivisione. Grazie a Christine e a Krissy che hanno mi hanno ascoltata con interesse, hanno tessuto con grazia e passione e condiviso i loro interessi tessili e hanno portato in Laboratorio esperienze nuove e stimolanti.

Grazie a Valeria, bravissima guida e compagna di lavoro e a Sarah Light The Tour Studio che promosso e organizzato questo percorso. E non solo! Bravissime allieve anche loro!

Volti attenti sul telaio, sorrisi e sguardi luminosi: magia della tessitura!

Yesterday morning, a week-long workshop focused on traditional, historic fabrics, particularly Diamantina, Tessuti Paesani, and Filaticcio Lucchese, concluded.

It was an intense, fun, and enriching workshop. Special thanks to Christine and Krissy, who listened attentively, wove with grace and passion, shared their textile interests, and brought new and stimulating experiences to the workshop.

Thanks also to Valeria, my excellent guide and companion, and to Sarah Light of The Tour Studio, who promoted and organized this program. And not only that! They were also fantastic students!

I laboratori del sabato iniziano con un grande classico " Tessere come scrivere".
Laboratorio pensato per far conoscere l'arte antica della tessitura a mano anche a coloro che non hanno mai visto un telaio.
Potrete usare i fili, di svariate tipologie e colori, come fossero matite per disegnare, "scrivere" pensieri, ricordi, emozioni, da fermare nel vostro il tessuto, che ogni allieva o allievo terrà con se come ricordo dell'esperienza.✨

The Saturday workshops begin with a classic, "Weaving as Writing."
This workshop is designed to introduce the ancient art of hand weaving, even to those who have never seen a loom.
You can use threads of various types and colors as if they were pencils to draw, "writing" thoughts, memories, and emotions, capturing them in your fabric, which each student will keep as a memento of the experience.✨

Mi sono accorta che "loro" non li ho mai pubblicati qui. Eccoli✨!
Sono pannelli decorativi tessuti a mano giocando con l'ingegnosa tecnica dei tessuti paesani. I filati sono di puro cotone in tonalità pastello oppure in bianco e nero.

These are decorative panels hand-woven using the ingenious techniques of "tessuti paesani". The yarns are pure cotton, in pastel shades or black and white.
