In questo primo capitolo del nostro archivio visivo abbiamo voluto fermarci proprio lì, dove il progetto incontra la materia.
Perché l'eleganza non nasce dall'eccesso.
Nasce dalla cura.
Dal 1946 a oggi, il dettaglio continua a fare la differenza.

Sometimes the story is hidden in detail: a hinge, a curve, a surface that captures light.
In this first chapter of our visual archive we wanted to stop right there, where project meets matter.
Because elegance does not come from excess.
It is born from the cure.
From 1946 to today, detail continues to make a difference.

Prima delle tendenze, c'erano le persone.

Gli occhiali non erano semplicemente un accessorio: diventavano parte dell'identità di chi li indossava, accompagnandone il lavoro, i gesti quotidiani, le ambizioni.

Abbiamo immaginato una montatura FILOS contemporanea osservata attraverso lo sguardo del 1946: la stessa ricerca di eleganza essenziale, la stessa attenzione alle proporzioni, lo stesso desiderio di autenticità.

Perché il buon design non appartiene a un'epoca.
Attraversa il tempo.

Glasses were not simply an accessory: they became part of the wearer's identity, accompanying their work, daily gestures, and ambitions.

We imagined a contemporary FILOS frame observed through the gaze of 1946: the same search for essential elegance, the same attention to proportions, the same desire for authenticity.

Because good design doesn't belong to an era.

Ogni epoca lascia un segno nei suoi oggetti.

Negli anni della ricostruzione, il valore risiedeva nella materia, nel tempo dedicato a ogni dettaglio, nella capacità di creare qualcosa destinato a durare.

Questa immagine apre il nostro percorso attraverso il design dell'occhiale: un viaggio che parte dal dopoguerra e arriva fino a oggi, raccontando come forme, materiali e sensibilità estetiche si siano evoluti nel tempo.

Il primo capitolo è dedicato all'acetato, materia viva, calda, capace di custodire memoria e innovazione.
