I think many of us are in a kind of hibernation mode right now.

I’m currently pet-sitting three dogs for a friend, which meant packing for three weeks — work clothes, dog-walking layers, unpredictable UK winter weather… the lot.

And do you know what I realised?

I keep reaching for exactly the same things.

Straight-leg jeans.
A cosy cable-knit polo neck.
Old, beloved slippers that feel like a hug for my feet.

And honestly… that’s completely OK.

Style isn’t always about polished outfits, perfectly styled looks, or keeping up with trends.

Sometimes style is about comfort.
Warmth.
Feeling gently nurtured by what you’re wearing.

In Italy there’s a concept called Bella Figura.
And it isn’t just about looking your best — it’s about doing the best for yourself and to yourself.

Taking time over your morning coffee.
Finding pleasure in a rainy walk.
Putting on a little lipstick — even if you’re still in your pyjamas.

If you find yourself reaching for the same soft jumpers and comforting layers right now… you’re not losing your style.
