Today is a special day. You know it.

So we decided to make it special.

Many of you know that, 𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒅𝒂𝒚, 41 𝒚𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒔 𝒂𝒈𝒐, Michael Jordan was in Trieste for an exhibition game as part of Nike’s European tour promoting the Air Jordan line. The plan was for MJ to play one half in the iconic orange-and-black Stefanel Trieste jersey, and the other half in a Juve Caserta jersey.

But that never happened.

The Juve Caserta jersey, manufactured by Piubello Abbigliamento Sportivo, made a brief appearance during the early warm-up. Then, it was never seen again.

𝑼𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒍 𝒏𝒐𝒘.

On this day, we decided it was time to bring it back into the game.

Almost a year since we kicked off Through The Glass in Chiarbola, Trieste.

What started with a special event on the anniversary of Jordan’s ’85 game in Trieste travelled across the region. From our two-day show in Trieste to stops in Udine, Pordenone, Cividale and Gorizia, we got to work alongside some of the biggest basketball clubs in Friuli Venezia Giulia.

Trieste finally gets its long-overdue orange and black playground in the heart of the city. The court marks the 9th Air Jordan-branded court worldwide.
