Dresses are timeless entities, the epitome of feminine and grace – slipping into one can instantly make one feel beautiful and confident, like the belle of the

ball and that tonight will be your night for whatever you dare! Here at tokyo kaleidoscope we hope to create pieces classic in style, gorgeous in print that will see you through all those important and wondrous occasions in life; pieces that you will cherish forever, that will bring a smile back to your face, that will always make you feel special and perhaps pass on with it’s own story…

Currently, we only create bespoke pieces so the kimono (by appointment only) is utilised as much as possible and that there’s minimal waste. Our limited ready to wear accessories (scrunchies, zip pouches, headbands etc) are created when there is enough kimono fabric remnants to work with. They are released randomly & sporadically (every couple months or so) on SHOPTOKYOKALEIDOSCOPE (www.instagram.com/shoptokyokaleidoscope) IG stories.

📚 PIETRO TRAMONTE’S LIBRARY

📖 when former accountant Pietro Tramonte retired • he decided to share his dream & love of books by turning a quaint street of Palermo, Sicily into an open library with his collection of 4000+ books

❤️ today there’s over 70,000 books in a multitude of languages (mainly Italian) & Pietro can still be found there daily a few hours at a time with a welcoming smile, ready to tell the story of his library & help find you a good book

🙏🏻 we actually stumbled upon this during our travels as we were on our way to book a restaurant for dinner later that week • how I wished I had had more time to speak to Pietro & find myself a good book as a keepsake & take a photo with this kind gentleman

🍃 perhaps that means I’ll simply have to return

🙏🏻 some places feel otherworldly beautiful & Southern Andalusia is one of them

☀️ that summer we road tripped through the region walking through ancient bridges & palaces • dining on delicious morsels of tapas whilst sipping sangria during siestas

🙏🏻 reigniting the soul • sometimes you gotta get away from everything to remember what sets your soul on fire

🍃 an interlude in Vietnam where I remembered to finally document some of my own personal pieces that I had reconstructed but never got around to taking photos of

❤️ after an intense several months of go go go • the reminder to always trust my instincts, that little tingle I get is one that should not be ignored
