Two tones. One hide.

Copenhagen is cut from Conceria 800 — a Tuscan tannery vegetable-tanning leather since 1969. Plant tannins, no synthetic shortcut. It's the slower way, which is why almost nobody does it.

Vegetable-tanned hide doesn't hold still. It deepens where your fingers land, and no two pieces end up quite the same. That's how you tell hide from a printed sheet.

Three leathers. One decision.

The phone was first. Then the AirPods stopped looking like they belonged to someone else. Then the wrist — the last thing still wearing rubber.

They aren't cut from the same hide, and they don't pretend to be. Ferrara is Crazy Horse: matte, rugged, darkening where your thumb sits. Cremona is pull-up cowhide, lightening where it bends — saddle-stitched by hand in cream thread, with a small cross-stitch at the keeper that nobody will ever see but you.

That's where the work goes: into the parts you find later.
