Based in Venice, Italy the label is now celebrating its 25th year in fashion, jewellery and accessories design. GODI FIORENZA_P.S.FIORENZA

The Fiorenza sisters, Patrizia Fiorenza; Fashion Designer and Samanta Fiorenza; Accessories and Jewellery Designer are born and bred Londoners with Venetian and Abruzzese backgrounds. Trained respectively at Central St.Martins University of the Arts and Chelse

a School of Art & Design followed by London Giuldhall University, the designers use this combined heritage to create a new individual language that is translated into their collections. Their boutique/atelier, Godi Fiorenza, is situated in the heart of Venice, opening its doors in March ’99, when the designers decided to launch their own label. In that time the boutique and label have grown from strength to strength, gaining an international reputation and clientele and gaining press coverage from: How to Spent It, Figaro Japon, Harper’s Bazaar Japon, Marie-Claire, InStyle, Lonely Planet, to name but a few. The label merges art with tradition, offering exclusive designs, that combine highly tailored pieces and innovative, sculptural cutting with exquisite detail and hand finishing that has become synonymous with the brand. Their creations are a modern response to tradition techniques, combining design with artisanal know how. We specialised in a semi-bespoke service, working with our customers to create the perfect piece of clothing, outfit, or piece of jewellery for them. Every piece by Godi Fiorenza makes a statement-dramatic, individual, stylish, the designers’ collections make reference not just to their heritage and mixed cultural background but to art, history and architecture as well as to the extraordinary every day, to create collections that have a strong signature style.

Process including beading, sewing, draping, colour inspiration is all part of our work, all of which takes time, experience, making mistakes and learning from those, moving forward and making the final piece look both beautiful and as if it has always belonged to the person it was made for. That is the main reason we find fashion so interesting and challenging, our canvas is the body, individual, unique and different with every commission. The story changes as and when the pieces pass from our hands to those of the customer. Endless stories in constant flux.
