We’re Open!!

Today, as I walked into my studio getting prepared for another second two-hour session with a family of five, I had to stop and take a quick video.

Sometimes you don’t realize how far you’ve come until you see it through the lens.

I remember when this was just an idea… a dream… something I was trying to figure out one step at a time. And today, I’m standing in a space that once only existed in my mind, preparing to teach and create with others.

So if you’re reading this and you have a dream but have NO IDEA how you’re going to fund it, build it, or make it happen START ANYWAY.

Start where you are.
Start with what you have.
Start small.
Build on it.
And trust the process.

But while you’re building… KEEP SILENT.

You don’t have to announce every move. You don’t have to explain the blueprint. You don’t have to let everyone know what you’re working on.

Even if you’re riding in a boat, make sure you’re the only one who knows where that boat is going.

Move quietly. Build intentionally. Let the results make the announcement.

Your dream doesn’t need an audience while it’s still under construction.

This is just a quick preview of my first 2-hour sewing sessions with a family of five! They were completely new to sewing, and watching them learn, create, laugh, and have so much fun together was such a joy.

There’s nothing like learning a new skill as a family and creating memories along the way!

Meet My Customer! | First Sewing Session

Today, I’m so excited to introduce you to my amazing customer! She has never sewn before in her life, and today was her very first sewing session!
I’m so proud of her for stepping outside of her comfort zone and starting something completely new. This is only the beginning of her sewing journey!

For her second session, we’ll be giving you a little preview of alterations, because that’s actually the main reason she signed up! She wants to learn how to alter her own clothes and become more confident with making adjustments that fit her perfectly.

I can’t wait to watch her skills grow from session to session.
