The new ‘sustainable slow fashion‘ concept can’t even begin to compete with the sustainable dress making process of our ancestors. Things were made from scratch, made to mean something. People made clothes with the intention of truly expressing themselves and maintaining these dresses for the rest of their living days 😍 !

“The woman on the left is wearing a white dress with colored stripes and a chest panel of striped satin” typical of Nablus.

“Both women are wearing Bethlehem style jackets ( تقصيرة)”

Both women are wearing the local Ramallah headdress ( الصفة).
