Kan3aneye, a culturally rich name for this project, was not only derived from its founder’s name- Mais Kan3an, but was also extracted from the cross stitch patterns themselves that are said to have a Kan3anian origin. One stitch at a time, Kan3aneye hopes to keep Palestinian Embroidery alive. After all, who said that Tatreez was old fashioned? Kan3aneye certainly never did! Each item is a unique piece and can’t be duplicated so each girl can enjoy being special with one of a kind piece enriched with Palestinian touch

التطريز هو نوع من الفن الفلسطيني ، وهو من التقاليد إلي وإتوارثناها جيل بعد جيل وراح إنضل نتوارثها، هي بتمثل التراث وتقاليدنا ونسبنا ولتعبر عن مدننا وانتماءاتنا . " كَـنْعَـانِـيّـِة " هو مشروع لإحياء التطريز الفلسطيني ، ولكن بلمسة جديدة فيها ألوان مبهجة وزركشات ممزوجة، ولكن من دون المس بأشكال التطريز الأصلية أو رسماته المتوارثةلتعطي الصبايا فرصة للاستمتاع بجمال التطريز لتلائم أزياءهم اليومية .
اسم المشروع ليس فقط مستوحاة من اسم عائلة صاحبة المشروع "ميس كنعان" بل مستوحاة ايضا من شعب كنعان الأصيل الذي عاش في فلسطين منذ آلاف السنين، وعرف فن التطريز الذي كان أحد علامات الحضارة التي تركها لنا الكنعانيون القدامى، وحتى اليوم ترتدي النساء الفلسطينيات خاصة الكبيرات بالسن الثوب المنقوش برموز كنعانية
لا يمكن تكرار أياً من التصاميم ولكن يمكن طلبها بألوان مختلفة أو شكل التطريزة مختلفة . References
