#3232 Original BL Shirt
Post O’Alls officially launched in 1993, though the concept had been taking shape for several years prior. Among the drawings designer Takeshi Ohfuchi created during that formative period was one model that never made it to production: a dress shirt with gathers at both the front and back yokes. Production constraints shelved the idea, and it was forgotten—until the designer rediscovered the sketch at his family home. More than 30 years later, it finally debuted in FW2025. While its basic design aligns with the BL (buttonless) shirt introduced in the mid-2000s—featuring a soft collar without collar buttons—the addition of gathers at the front yoke sets it apart. Technically rooted in early 1900s antique shirts, its overall impression is refreshingly casual.
Post O’Allsは1993年にブランドデビューしましたが、構想自体はその数年前からありました。そんな時期にデザイナーの大淵が書き溜めていたドローイングの中で、唯一リリースされなかったモデルがあります。それは、ヨークのフロントとバックにギャザーの入るドレスシャツでした。当時は縫製上の理由で生産が叶わずに忘れ去られていましたが、デザイナーが実家でそのデザイン画を発見し、2025FWに30年越しのデビューとなりました。基本デザインは2000年代中頃にデビューしたBL（ボタンレス）・シャツ＝ボタンダウンシャツのようなソフトカラーで襟ボタンが無い＝と同様ですが、フロントヨークにもギャザーが入る点が異なっています。スペック的には1900年代初頭のアンティークなシャツですが、印象はカジュアルなものとなっています。
