Over 100 large and small ice and snow statues created with pure white snow and clear ice are displayed⛄️✨❄️
It's even more beautiful and fantastic at night because it is lighted up🌙💫

New Year is called "Oshogatsu" in Japanese, and there are many special events.

For example, family members and other relatives get together and eat Japanese traditional dishes that is called "Osechi ryori".👶👨👩👴👵
"Osechi ryori" is a specially prepared New Year's dish that is beautifully arranged in lacquer boxes.
Each dish that makes up osechi-ryori has a special meaning such as health, longevity, fertility, and luck🍀✨

It's getting colder in Japan⛄🍂
How's the weather in your country?

During winter in Japan, there is a very convenient home heater called a Kotatsu.
A kotatsu is a traditional heating system in Japan, which is a table and a heater combined as one piece of furniture.
Sitting around the kotatsu with the quilt over their legs, family members eats oranges🍊, watch television📺, play games👾 together. Sometimes children do their homework📝 there and cats relax🐱🎶
It feels so good and makes to feel drowsy😌💤
A kotatsu is one of the typical features in Japanese winters and it's an ideal place that encourages face-to-face interaction for the family🏠💗

If you will come japan in winter, please try and experience the kotatsu❗
Since winter in Japan is cold, I think you should bring something warm to protect yourself😉
