[Ikebukuro Stroll] Discover an Anime Culture Hub Featuring Rare Behind-the-Scenes Production Exhibits
“Ikebukuro Stroll” highlights must-visit spots around SEIBU IKEBUKURO.
Just a 4-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station, ANIME TOKYO STATION is a cultural facility dedicated to sharing the world of Japanese anime with visitors from Japan and around the globe.
In the permanent exhibition area on the basement level, “The Animation Production Process,” visitors can explore how anime is created and gain a close-up look at the various stages of production.
The second floor hosts special exhibitions featuring popular anime titles, while the first floor offers anime screenings and special programs with renowned voice actors. Best of all, admission to all exhibits and programs is free.
For international visitors, multilingual support staff wearing yellow uniforms are available to assist.
The facility also features a merchandise shop and photo spots for plush toys, making it a great place to create memorable experiences during your visit to Ikebukuro.
