HUMOR |

Three University students dodged exam because they did adequately prepare for it. They came up with a scheme, got themselves dirty with grease and oil, then went to see their Lecturer.

“Sir we are sorry we couldn't make it to the exam. We attended a wedding and on our way back the car broke down and we became so dirty as you can see.”

The Lecturer understood and gave them three days to prepare. After three days, they went to the Lecturer very ready for the exam because they had studied.

The Lecturer decided to put them in three separate classes with only four questions on the exam paper:

1. Who got married? (25 marks)

2. Where was the reception held? (25mks)

3. Where exactly did the car break down? (25mks)

4.What type of car broke down? (25mks)

Marking scheme: your answers must correspond!

As we speak, they are still in the exam hall sweating profusely. 😄

The first cohort of the Kilimo Accelerator by Spice Without Borders will be Launching today at the KMTC Lugari Campus, Panpaper, starting 10:00am

Launching Kilimo Accelerator by Spice Without Borders this Sarturday 16th October 2021 at the Kenya Medical Training College Lugari Campus. Attendance is by card only. Covid 19 Protocols will strictly be observed.

Kilimo is Swahili for Farming. Kilimo Accelerator, a project of Spice Without Borders, is therefore a 6 months entrepreneurial life skills boot camp for local adolescent ages 13 – 17 years. It employs participants in producing and marketing crops, and bootstraps them with the guidance and resources they need to sell and make profit, which they can keep.

We nurture young impact entrepreneurs or as we like to call them 'agriprenuers'. We believe this is the most effective, sustainable means of tackling poverty and climate change because these agriprenuers can play a major role in coming up with unique solutions to local problems in their backyards. Our role is to help refine, support and scale their solutions.

Spice Without Borders is a global leadership academy and incubator for social change innovation providing mentorship and one-on-one training that aims to nurture passions and develop entrepreneurs into socially responsible leaders that support the local economy.

TO ALL PARENTS

If you must get your children Android Portable Devices, you need to follow the below steps to be safe:

1. Register a gmail account for them with the correct age and with your email as the parent.

2. Install Google Family Link on your own phone.

3. Add their registered e-mail to your Google Family Link.

4. Factory Reset their android device if they already have one then login the device with their own gmail account that is linked to your Google Family Link.

5. If it is new device, make sure it is their gmail you use to activate the device.

6. Immediately you carry out step 4 & 5 above, your phone will get a notification to allow them activate the device, this is the beginning of you taking control from anywhere.

7. All adult content of any form will never load in their phone.

8. They cannot install anything without your approval remotely from the Family Link.

9. You can lock their device from anywhere.

10. You can set a start and stop time for their device usage, the phone will lock when it gets to that time even if you forget.

11. YouTube will not allow them see adult content too.

12. There is also YKids, which is YouTube for Kids, I recommend you remove the normal YouTube and give them YKids.

13. From your Google Family Link, you can see how long they stayed on each app or page to warn them where necessary.

14. You will see as much as major details of the app.
