You start stalking everyone.
Posting painful statuses.

My daughters please…
DON’T give birth for a married man hoping he will “choose you.” 😭

If he truly loves you, let him officially pack his suitcase, leave that marriage legally, buy you a house and stand proudly beside you. SIMPLE 😂👏🏽

Because dating a married man is not dating 😭
That is borrowing government property without transfer papers 🚔😂

Leave the wife alone 😭
That woman is already tired.

Somethings are better understood when seen or experienced.

The whole process I understand better and clearly than before.

To every mother who have passed through this process, I appreciate your strength.

To others who will pass through it due to one safety reason or the other.

I want to let you know that you are on the right track.

With my experience, I can tell you that the healing process alone is for strong women.❤️

Don't let anyone tell you otherwise or make you feel less .

The goal after all is to welcome a healthy mother and her baby (ies).

To every expectant mother reading this, you will surely carry your baby(ies) at the end.🫶

Every mother knows that strength isn’t always loud. Sometimes it’s the quiet determination to care, to nurture, and to keep going, even when the nights are long and the days feel endless.

On March 8, we celebrate women everywhere- mothers, caregivers, daughters, and friends- who keep families, communities, and dreams alive. We honor their resilience, creativity, and unwavering love.

Supporting mothers means more than providing essentials for their babies. It means listening, offering guidance, creating safe spaces, and empowering them with knowledge and confidence to thrive. Every small act of care and every shared story builds a stronger community for women and children alike.

Today, we acknowledge the everyday heroes whose impact is felt quietly but deeply- the women shaping lives, futures, and possibilities for the next generation.

No Mother Should Die Giving Life

Following the recent maternal death of one Grace Wambui Misigo at Mukumu Mission Hospital in Kakamega, our hearts are heavy.
As investigations continue into the tragic incident, we stand in solidarity with the affected family. Losing a mother during childbirth is devastating; for her children, her loved ones, and the entire community.

At , we believe:
Every mother deserves timely, skilled, and respectful maternity care.
Every woman deserves to be heard when she says something feels wrong.
No woman should die from preventable childbirth complications.

The recent Mukumu incident reminds us that maternal health is not just a policy issue, it is personal. It affects families right here in our county.

Many maternal deaths are linked to:
Severe bleeding (postpartum hemorrhage)
Delayed emergency response
Delayed referrals
Gaps in monitoring during labour
Lack of respectful maternity care

This is why awareness and accountability matter.

As women and families, we must:
✔️ Attend all antenatal clinic visits
✔️ Understand the danger signs during pregnancy and labour
✔️ Seek care immediately if something feels wrong
✔️ Advocate for ourselves and ask questions during labour

At the same time, health systems must work. Facilities must be equipped. Health workers must be supported. Oversight must be strengthened.

Let this moment not only be one of mourning, but also one of renewed commitment to safer motherhood in Kakamega and across Kenya.
