This afternoon, a U.S. Air Force C-17A Globemaster III military cargo aircraft (97-0046), with callsign RCH275, landed in Kenya after departing from the United States via Ramstein Air Base in Germany, with a stopover in Mombasa before continuing to Nairobi.
The aircraft was tracked from its departure point in the U.S. through its route into Europe and onward to Kenya.
It is said to have been carrying materials linked to an Ebola-related facility being set up in Kenya.
The arrival has raised questions regarding its purpose, with attention also drawn to broader regional health and logistics activities involving Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
