যখন ডেইলি ষ্টার এ আমরাদের পূর্ব ও দক্ষিণ আফ্রিকা ভ্রমণের অভিজ্ঞতার গল্প ছাপা হয় , তখন আমরা পামির হাইওয়ে অন্নেষণে তাজিকিস্তানের ছোট্ট একটি শহর খড়গ এ অবস্থান করছিলাম। শহরটির অবস্থান অনেক উঁচুতে হওয়ায় আমাদের মোবাইল নেটওয়ার্ক (টি-সেল ) নেটওয়ার্ক একেবারেই কাজ করছিলো না , পরে একজনের কাছ থেকে অল্প সময়ের জন্য মেগাফোন এর কানেকশন নিয়ে অনেকগুলো মেসেজে এর মধ্যে ভাইয়ের মেসেজ এ গিয়ে লিংক দেখে অনেক খুশি হলাম, কিন্তু লিংকটা ঠিকমতো ওপেন হচ্ছিলো না। চার দিন পরে লিখাটা সবার সঙ্গে শেয়ার করছি। ডেইলি স্টার এ আমাদের গল্প প্রকাশ করার জন্য রাজীব ভাইকে।
"When our story about our travel experiences in East and South Africa was published in the Daily Star, we were in Khorog, a small town from where the great pamir highway in Tajikistan, exploring the Pamir Highway. Due to its high altitude, our mobile network (T-cell) was completely out of service. Later, we borrowed a Megafon connection from someone for a short time and discovered the link sent to my inbox. Although the link wasn't opening, after four days, from the city of Osh in Kyrgyzstan, I managed to share our story with everyone. Thank you to Rajib Bhai for publishing our story in the Daily Star."
