This is our Dandora team.

They handle the hand-dyeing process of the fabrics used in our bags, forming a key part of how each Pambo Letu piece is made.

Our production is hands-on from dyeing to assembly, with our team moving between locations to work closely with artisans and ensure consistency at every stage.

Everything is done in small batches, with attention to detail from start to finish.

Revisiting the moment Mseto stepped out for the first time.

I found myself paying close attention to people and what they naturally gravitated towards, what caught their eye, what sparked conversation.

Those moments are shaping how we continue to build.

This was part of the Creative DNA programme, supporting Kenya’s creative economy through skills development, sustainable fashion, and UK–Kenya collaboration.

There’s a version of you that moves quietly.
Grounded, intentional, steady

And then there’s the one that walks in and shifts the room.
Warm, bold, impossible to ignore.

CHANUA is for both.
For the woman you already are.
And the ones you’re still becoming.

Which one are you today?

CHECHE was designed for real life, the in-between moments, the busy days, the slow ones too.
Now in three colorways, each one telling its own story through craft and color.

Which one feels like you?

The bag pulls it all together.

I’ve always believed you don’t need too much to look put together
you just need the right piece.

This one… it does the work.
The structure, the feel, the way it moves with you through your day
whether you’re crossing the road or walking into a meeting.

I designed it for that kind of life.
Real days. Busy days. Days that don’t slow down.

And somehow, it still holds its own
without trying too hard.

That’s what matters to me.

With Sitawi, I kept thinking about what we carry every day.

The hexagon shape gives it structure, and the canvas cotton is firm without being stiff. The leather blend adds quiet elegance while staying soft to the touch. You can fit your iPad, a book, whatever the day calls for, and it still holds its shape. That balance was important to me.

We love how CHECHE came together. The orange into those deep browns feels warm, and that hand-dyed pattern gives it this soft zigzag movement we didn’t want to lose. The pleats fall in just right, and the bamboo handle… it just sits so well in your hand. The shape does the rest!

Where Dreams Take Flight Part II

Linet was three when she arrived at Kakuma refugee camp. Growing up there shaped her quiet courage, her determination, and a presence that speaks before she even says a word.

Her dream of modeling started young, staying up late for America’s Next Top Model, imagining herself on the runway. But it became more than a dream. She asked questions: how was this made? Who made it? Why?

Now, Linet walks runways with confidence and purpose. Every time she steps into a Pambo Letu piece, especially the MSETO collection, she doesn’t just wear it, she lives it. She carries the story, the culture, and the hands that made it.

Fashion isn’t just clothing. Its identity. It’s culture. It’s courage. And Linet embodies it all.

✨ Stay tuned for Part III, where Linet’s vision for the future begins to unfold, and the impact of her journey reaches beyond the runway. ✨
