Reveal Comics Conversations EA , in collaboration with Alliance Française de Nairobi, brought young people and creatives together for Rada na Gen Z: Katiba na Sauti Yetu, using comics, visual storytelling and conversation to explore the Constitution and youth participation in civic life.
The session highlighted how artists and creatives can use their work to question, document and shape conversations around society and politics.

Kenyan comedian Auntie Jemimah marked a decade in comedy over the weekend with the fourth edition of her popular Maitú Múkábete showcase at the KICC Tsavo Ballroom in Nairobi. Held on Saturday, 5 September, the live experience brought audiences together through comedy, Gikuyu storytelling and cultural themes, reflecting the character and stories that have shaped Auntie Jemimah’s creative journey over the past 10 years.

The workshop offered a hands-on space for creatives to write, illustrate and turn their ideas into zines, highlighting self-publishing as another avenue for creative expression.
