The new job entails a lot of business travel, and this doesn't sit well with Jeff.

1983: (May 14) Randy is spotted by patrol officers swerving the road and is pulled over. He is reeking of alcohol. His shirt is buttoned incorrectly and his pants zippers are down. He is completely disheveled. He fails the standard sobriety test, is handcuffed and shoved into the police car. The officers walk towards his car and what do they see?????
1) A young man slumped over the passenger seat.
2) The man's pants are down.
3) The man is barefooted.
4) He is totally unresponsive.
5) He has strangulation marks on the neck and,
6) His wrists are bound with a rope.
The officers try to take a pulse and realize the young man is dead. He is later identified as a 25yr old marine from a nearby base. Tests show high levels of alcohol and tranquilizers in the deceased's blood. (Remember the tranquilizers and pain killers for the headaches and stomach pains?) Anyways, it is also established that the young marine graced a certain party that day and decided to hitchhike home.
Also in the car are 47 photos of different men who are nude, appear unconscious and possibly dead. (My oh my!)
At the back of the car is a briefcase with a list of 61 cryptic messages in which Randy has given all the victims nicknames such as deodorant, Marine drunk overnight shots etc. The list is to later be dubbed, 'Randy's Scorecard'.
Randy is arrested. Further search in his apartment reveals 3 more photos of different previous cold case victims and evidence of other unsolved murders. It is said that the degree of torture inflicted on his victims corresponded with the treatment he received from his prevailing relationships.
