Would you prefer embroidery or printing in uniforms?

Both forms of branding are good for any business, however it's good to know how both can make your brand stand out without compromising on quality.

Embroidery is a form of branding that uses threads and is best for professional, durable and premium look.

It's mainly used in: corporate shirts, polo shirts, caps, chef coats,school sweaters, overalls, security uniforms and hospital scrubs.

It doesn't fade easily and is good for repeated washing. However, it's not ideal for large designs or photo-style logos.

Printing is a form of branding that uses ink and is best for large colourful and promotional designs.

It's best for t-shirts, reflector jackets, umbrellas, sports jersey, campaign shirts,event wear, hoodies and promo uniform.

It's best when the design is large, you need many colours, you want lower cost. However, some prints peel if it's lower quality.

Choosing the right uniform for your child comes with various challenges for most parents.

The biggest challenge that I have noticed comes with choosing the size that they wear. As a rule of thumb, we advise the parents to have a tape measure which comes in very handy. In most shops it's only 50 shillings.

To help in identifying the correct size:

Fleece jackets/sweaters/shirts just measure the shoulders end to end for boys but for adolescent girls measure the chest.

For tracksuit always measure the trousers length from waist to feet.

For elastic/primary school trousers measure the length waist to feet.

For highschool trousers measure the waist but for taller people also measure the length because most trousers have a length of maximum 44 inches.

Baro's Knitwear first built it's foundation on branding. However as we interacted with our customers, we saw a need to ensure that they leave all the apparel work to us so that they can focus on building their brand.

We customise our overalls according to client needs. However, we also advise them on the best way to make their brand stand out and also protect their most important resource which is labour from dust, chemicals,oil,paint, cement and provide warmth.

Our overalls come with reflectors because we know and understand that sometimes work can go into the night and to protect your workers so that they can be visible.

We also brand at the front,back and sleeves so that they can market their product.

Overalls are used in construction, cleaning/ sanitation, farming, mechanics, welding, laboratory,school workshops, plumbers, technicians, painting and medical laboratory
