I smiled and told them itโs a personal decision.
I chose not to use a prosthetic hand and thatโs okay.
Hereโs the truth:
๐๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐๐๐ถ๐ฏ๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐๐ ๐ถ๐๐ปโ๐ ๐ผ๐ป๐ฒ-๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ-๐ณ๐ถ๐๐-๐ฎ๐น๐น.
Some of us thrive with assistive tech like prosthetics. Others choose not to.
Both choices are valid. Both are powerful.

You style your sleeves, you hold your babies, you type your reports, you lift your dreams and you make it look effortless.
You remind us that AT isnโt about fixing itโs about unlocking.
This yearโs global call under is about visibility, voice, and value.
Itโs about removing barriers, not just physically, but socially and economically especially in low- and middle-income communities.

Letโs make sure that future includes inclusive design, equitable access, and unapologetic choice in the assistive tech space.
Today, I celebrate ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ my fellow warriors with prosthetics and every person using AT to reclaim their power.โจโค๏ธ
