Has someone ever given you a backhanded compliment, mocked you, or slightly insulted you while trying to ‘flirt’ with you? That’s called ‘NEGGING’. It’s an attempt to undermine your confidence and make you feel vulnerable, in the hope it increases your need for their approval.
Examples of NEGGING:
"I don't usually date big girls but you're hot."
"You're good looking for a short guy."
"You look good minus the hair."
"Your smile is so good even though your teeth are crooked".
" Your muscles are too big. Do you take steroids? "
This "flirtation" technique is often labelled as 'childish' but in actuality, it's incredibly manipulative.
People who take part in negging often have a tendency of putting others down in an attempt to make themselves feel good, bullying, or struggle to be vulnerable themselves.

He went and then came back to his father, and said, "the watchmaker paid 5 dollars because it's old”.

He said to him : “go to the coffee shop”. He went and then came back, and said: “He paid $5 father”.

“Go to the museum and show that watch”.
— He went then came back, and said to his father “They offered me a million dollars for this piece”.

The father said: “I wanted to let you know that the right place values your value in a way right, don't put yourself in the wrong place and get angry if you don't. Who knows your value is who appreciates you, don't stay in a place that doesn't suit you".

Do you ever sit and wonder why everyone around you is running fast and getting things done in ways they want them done? They get better jobs, succeed in business, get married, basically they succeed at everything they do while, you feel stuck in one place!

Please don't loose hope, they are simply in their season, don't be jealous of them but instead, celebrate with them. The God who did it for them, will do it for you too. A mango tree does not worry when the Orange tree is producing fruits in its season. When your season comes, nothing will stand in your way, the slow movement of a Lion doesn't show weakness or tiredness but rather calculated steps to get it's prey.... Never bother how fast people are moving. Move at your own pace and trust God to see you through. The fact that your current situation isn't as bad as your former, means that, you are headed for an even better life ahead.

Remember it's not how fast you build your house but it's how firm and strong your house will be when the storms comes. Keep walking by Faith, Jesus is with you.
