When you get your suit home, you’ll need a seam ripper or a small, sharp pair of scissors. Un-stitch the jacket’s pockets, remove the tack stitches from the jacket’s vents and remove the little-embroidered label from the jacket’s left sleeve. Do this very carefully to ensure you don’t actually rip the fabric or neighboring threads.

As a general rule, a Black Formal shoe will go with nearly all suit colours. However, you can make more of an impact if you go for a brown or tan shoe when wearing either a Navy/Blue or Light Colour suit. You should match your shoes to the color of your suit using this rule:

Black Suit = Black Shoe
Charcoal Grey Suit = Black Shoe
Light Grey Suit = Black Shoe or Brown Shoe
Any Shade of Blue Suit (Navy, Powder Blue etc) = Brown Shoe or Black Shoe
Brown Suit = Brown Shoe

A charcoal gray suit is a formal suit, pairing it with a black shoe is the best option. Although it can go with Dark Burgundy Shoes. Avoid pairing it with brown or tan shoes as it makes it look informal.

How to Match Your Tie to Your Suits and Shirts .Here are Few golden thumb rules to concider.

1. When wearing a striped shirt and striped tie, the stripes of your shirt and stripes of your tie should be different sizes and should not lean in the same direction: E.g. vertical thin stripes on your shirt should go with diagonal thick stripes on the tie.

2 . If you are less experienced in color mixing and matching, when wearing a shirt with stripes and any patterned tie, it is recommended that you should wear a suit in a solid color.

3. When mixing multiple pieces with the same pattern, pattern proportion must vary. If you choose a shirt with thin and close stripes you should pair it with a broader/wider striped tie. If you choose a shirt with tiny polka dot, you can pair it with a tie of larger polka dots.

4.Thick stripes on the shirt should go with think or small patterns on the tie and vice versa. But please take note of the next rule (Rule No 5) that has to do with a checked shirt.

5.. When mixing checked shirt with another patterned tie, the tie must always have a larger pattern to distinguish itself against the shirt. An easy pattern to start with is stripes. Stripes are an essential in the fashion world, as they are versatile in size, shape, and direction.
