💎 However, dressing with purpose has different aspects. Take an example of a doctor. Why do you think they put on white lab coats?
💎 The significance of a white lab coat on a doctor varies from identification to integrity & professionalism.
💎 The same white lab coat on a painter does not receive the attention it does on a doctor. Due to the nature of a painter's job, the lab coat would get stained and lose relevance.
💎 What we wear has a way of translating into our day-to-day life. Clothes or accessories are symbolic.
💎 Find the purpose behind that which you put on. Once the intent is known, it shall be easier to fulfill.

WHO IS A FEMININE WOMAN💄👠👗

Would you define yourself as feminine? Here is my understanding of femininity.

Femininity means womanhood: qualities or attributes regarded as characteristic of women.

I love 'The Proverbs 31 Woman' for how she embodies femininity.

She is a woman in a relationship with God, purpose-oriented, charitable, a homemaker, a wife, and financially savvy.

These are a few of her attributes I have highlighted. Read the chapter for yourself to find out more.😊

She sounds like the current version of womanhood that I want to embody.

She highlights the element of style that has inspired this month's series on 'Feminine Style'; She makes her own clothing, and dresses in colorful linens and silks.

WHAT'S YOUR UNDERTONE?

▪️It would not be a complete color month unless we touch on undertones.

▪️The colors that you can see underneath your skin are what are known as undertones. Note that your skin tone and your undertones are not the same thing.

▪️Knowing your undertones help in choosing makeup, clothes & jewelry that work best on you.

▪️We have three categories of undertones:

💎Warm Undertone; If the base tone of your skin is yellow or gold, you have a warm undertone
💎Cool Undertones; If you see hints of blue, pink, or red. You have cool undertones.
💎Neutral: If there’s a mixture of warm and cool hues, or your undertone is the same color as your actual skin color, then you fall into the neutral category.

Hello to all the monochromatic lovers.

Working with monochrome color is the simplest way to stay style elated.

You can decide to go with a true neutrals combo,all black, all white, grey & black or a preferred color choice.

My choice of color is blue; I’m working with a Hue ( blue), add some neutral (black) to slightly break the monotony.

Navy blue and a pastel/ light blue would also be perfect for this look.

This is one of the ways to pull a monochromatic color from the same palette with different tones, shades & tints.
