In the vast, thriving Westbrook Farm, the owner raised a herd of cows—big and small. His farm was the largest breeder in town, producing the richest milk.

But despite their good health, the cows had one common habit—they always complained about their food. No matter what the farmer gave them, it was never good enough.

Only one cow never complained—her name was Bora, a blind cow.

Bora was not born blind. When she was young, she could see the beautiful fields of Westbrook. But one unfortunate day, she was struck by a cruel cow, damaging her eyes forever. Since then, she had lived in darkness.

Yet, despite her blindness, she remained grateful.

One harsh winter, with no fresh grass available, the cows were given dried grass. They cried louder than ever, grumbling about their food.

Only Bora quietly waited for her meal, eating the dry grass happily, satisfied with what she had.

Because the other cows complained so much, the farmer gave them different food, while Bora continued to receive dried grass. Since she couldn't see, the other cows mocked her, laughing at her misfortune.

She became the laughingstock of the farm.

But as the days passed, something incredible happened. Bora’s milk became richer and tastier than ever before. Soon, she was producing the healthiest and most delicious milk in town.

People from faraway places heard about the miracle of the blind cow and came to see her. She became famous, admired by many.

Even more surprising—her eyes slowly began to heal.

That’s when Bora discovered the truth—the farmer had always admired her patience and obedience. Unknown to her, he had been mixing a special medicine into her dried grass, ensuring she received the best nutrition.

While the other cows wasted time complaining, Bora had unknowingly received the greatest gift—strength, healing, and the deep respect of her owner.

Realizing their mistake, the bad cows apologized to Bora, ashamed of how they had treated her. But Bora forgave them, saying, "We all make mistakes. What matters is learning from them and choosing to be better."

From that day on, the farm was a happier place. The cows stopped complaining, and together, they learned the true meaning of gratitude.

And Bora, once the blind and bullied cow, became Westbrook’s pride—a symbol of patience, kindness, and resilience.

Gratitude brings unexpected rewards—those who appreciate what they have will always find happiness.
