This Saturday at Hangry Plate, I’ll be there pushing pins and things from 1 to 8. Yup. 1 pm to 8 pm. Extremely ambitious behavior from me.

As Drew from Hangry Plate said, “feels like a mission… a full operation.” Honestly? Accurate. I need the vitamin D anyway, so I’m down to clown.

If you’re around the area, stop by and say hi, browse my wares, enable my bad financial decisions or just come hang out for a bit. I promise I’m not that awkward and can be socially functional in public settings. =]

Long time, no chat!

If you’re new here, I’m Jamila, the mentally unstable person behind Anxiety and Kimbap. I haven’t been active lately because… life happened and this brand is run by one person: me.

So what’s been up? Last year I launched a Kickstarter for my first ita bag. It was successfully funded, but everything after that was a mess. It turned into a learning experience in the worst way and I pulled back from pretty much everything because I felt defeated and depressed.

Then add tariffs, post office issues and the general state of the world. Trying to show up online and sell anything felt kind of unreal.

I left Korea for a bit and went back home. I’m really glad I did because I got to spend time with my uncle. I came back this year, started a job that completely drained me, didn’t even last two months there. But I earned enough to get settled and finish fulfilling the Kickstarter, so… small win.

Now I’m slowly making my way back and trying to be more active again. I have some markets coming up, so catch me outside pretending I have my life together.

From markets filled with beautiful merch to a talk show on non-surgical legal gender correction with experts and community members - there’s so much to enjoy! ✨ We’ve brought this event together in honour of Transgender Day of Remembrance Week, and we hope to spend it with you.
