Recently a group of us escaped the heat to . A resort half an hour outside Luang Prabang. Oscar is son of owners Holger and Aloun, his passion is football so I reckon he'll be glued to he World Cup this week. Oscar guided us up to lookout, waitered our table and did a great job! He has a good life between town and the mountains, and he gets to eat amazing fresh food. So for good food, an herbal sauna, relaxing pool, mountain walks, take a breat at Hillside Resort. You can even go up just for a delicious lunch and swim.

We love our village of Luang Prabang, Ban Aphai, and since Maddie, her smiley team, and her cats The Happy Cat Luangprabang moved around the corner it is even better. My go-to for morning coffee and fresh delicious breakfast bowels. But don't expect the cats to be there, they own the village and get out and about.
