We were happy to welcome the CARE ID - DPP Lite Project team to LeLao Studio.
The visit gave us a chance to talk about how fashion is changing, the important of digital product passports to trace the origins of each product. At LeLao, our work has always been about people, materials, and the stories behind each piece. There it was such oir greatest pleasure to be part of this collaborative iniative to strengthen Lao local brand.
Knowing where a product comes from and what it is made of is more important than ever. It helps us take better care of it, use it for longer, and find better ways to recycle or repurpose it when we no longer need it. Digital tools can help support this, in a way that still respects the care and intention that artisans put into their work.
This exchange is a small but meaningful step in connecting local craftsmanship in Laos with a more responsible and sustainable future.
